What Is Green Marketing

“What is green marketing?”; by now, several companies must be asking this question.  Those who were smart enough to join the Green Revolution Bandwagon early on are now being showered with praises by the tree-hugging consumers.

Some companies could not be bothered to take the Green Revolution seriously.  But as all of us have seen, the rest of the world does take ‘going green’ seriously.  And the companies who have ‘gone green’ have earned the respect of the public.

So, if you’re not one of those who haven’t joined the revolution yet, then I suggest you start researching the answer to “What is green marketing?”.  Or better yet, let me tell you.  Green marketing involves using eco-friendly products in order to run your business.  More importantly, it means promoting the green revolution to your consumers, encouraging them to patronise products that are “green”.

Many companies use Green Marketing in order to improve sales, especially since global warming is such a big issue today that people would embrace anything that would claim to prevent it.  Green marketing is all well and good, but there are just some companies that use it to mask their more dubious activities that harm the earth.  Just be sure that your company is not one of them and you should be more than welcome to “go green”.
